This project was inspired buy a photo of a BMW M5 Touring I saw one day on Flickr. I thought it would be cool to have that car here in the US since it was never sold here. My idea was to take the last of the 5 series tourings and clone the M5 Touring as much as possible. As a result I ended up buy a 535xi Touring as I felt the twin turbo N54 motor found in it would be the easiest to tune and make decent power since the aftermarket is highly lacking for all other model E60/E61s.
