I have an Android powered phone (The Nexus One by Google / HTC to be exact) and one of the common problems people have with the complaints iPhone users like to use to discredit the platform is that there isnt an easy way to sync music, photos and videos to the phone. Well I for one never thought it was that difficult, but was recently informed of a solution to make things 10x easier. That solution is double Twist.

If your familiar with iTunes and you think its easy to use then you’ll have no problem what so ever using double Twist. Its layout is much the same of iTunes yet is sync music, audio books, photos, and videos as well as playlists to your Android, Blackberry or any other phone platform. The software will even scan and import your iTunes library as well as your iTunes playlists. You really cant beat it. The best part is its free! Check it out as I give it two thumbs up.

After seeing the unique install that Sound Man did on the Toyota Tacoma (that was posted up yesterday) I did a little research and found some other interesting and a lot less work ways to mount one of the new iPads. Ram Mount makes a series of mounts for Auto & Marine and has applications ranging from tablet mounts to wheelchair mounts. While browsing their site I came across a full line of mounts for the iPad even though it was just released this past weekend. Check out some photos below or click here to visit their site.

Came across this install of the iPad today when a friend shot me a IM and showed it to my on Youtube.com. It made me realize how cool this item could really be. I like the whole idea of the tablet, but I was hoping for some more features on the iPad then it came out with (such as camera for skype use, usb ports, multi-tasking ect). I personally am going to wait and see what the the market comes out to compete with the iPad or at least wait for version 2.0.

Anyway about the vid ….. It was a install done in a Toyota Tacoma from a guy called Sound Man. Looks like they are using a McIntosh 6 channel amplifier MCC406M, and a special iPod dock which allows the digital signal to be pulled from the iPad and distributed to the BitOne via optical output. Check out the video after the jump

Google today launched new service that’s integrated with its Gmail client call “Google Buzz”. The service is an attempt to take away from Facebook and Twitter with the ability to share status updates, geo tagging, share photos, share links and pretty much any other info you can think of. The best part of all is its integrated with Gmail and available on your computer or handheld mobile device.

“

Dubbed Google Buzz, the service allows users to post and browse content from people they regularly communicate with over Gmail in a new stream-like interface. People can choose to follow content from other Google users and Google tries to figure out what’s relevant, surfacing some updates directly into a users’ inbox. People can consume the stream of information through a left hand menu under a user’s inbox. Beginning soon, they will also be able to post and view updates from Google’s mobile Web site or Buzz mobile software application.

Todd Jackson, the product manager for Buzz, described the service as “a new world inside of Gmail.” “There has always been a giant social network beneath Gmail,” he said.

The service borrows features from a variety of social media sites; whether it can stand out and fill a new need remains unclear. Like Facebook, Buzz allows people to post content publicly or privately and comment on posts. It also allows users to “follow” others, a model popularized by Twitter.”
