Current Reading – Crash Proof 2.0
Recently picked up Crash Proof 2.0 as I have been listening to Peter Schiff a lot on several news stations and even on some youtube clips. He has a very interesting perspective on the current economic crisis and I tend to agree with everything he has said so far in the book. Im about 4 chapters in so Ill be sure to update the post once Im done with book.
UPDATE:
I finally completed the book. I was so slow to finishing this mainly due to being extremely busy in my personal life that I haven’t had a ton of time to dedicate to my reading. I must say that Peter Schiff makes valid points through out the book and explains come complex economics in easy to understand ways. He explains about how he believes (and which I also believe) that hyper-inflation is only a matter of time away unless the government does something to deal with run away spending and the Federal Reserve consistently injecting liquidity in to the market place. The book also covers ways to protect your self. Towards the end it sounds a little bit like a sales pitch for his company Euro Pacific, however I believe that he truly believes in what he is selling, something not always on the minds of money managers.
This book to me is a must read, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to understand why the market it booming while unemployment is high and there is no sign of real job creation in sight.
